Wondering in the App store we come across several Apps and sometimes we might feel that an App you just came across just suits your friend or a person you know. Wondering how to gift this App to someone you know? Do not worry as Apple has made this as simple as it is. You can now gift an iPhone, iPad or an iPod App to a person you know whenever you feel like. Here is a tutorial as to how to do it.

If you own an iOS devise, you can gift an App within the App store itself.

Step 1:

Launch the App store

Step 2:

Browse the App store and find out the App that you would like to gift.

Step 3:

Scroll to the bottom of the App and tap on Gift this App.

Step 4:

You will now be shown with a screen that displays all the details of the App that you just choose. Tap on next.

Step 5:

Fill up the Form that appears. Review the information and the details filled and click on buy gift.

Step 6:

Tap on done once you are done with gifting. If you like to gift the App again, click on gift again and follow the same procedure.

How to gift an App from Mac or Windows.

If you do not have an iPhone or an iPad, you can still gift an App to your friend from your iTunes account. This is how you do it.

Step 1:

Open your iTunes account on your Mac or Windows Pc.

Step 2:

Browse to the App that you wish to gift and click on the arrow next to the price of the App.

Step 3:

Fill the form that appears. Fill the details appropriately.

Step 4:

Review the details that you filled. Check if the details filled are correct. If correct click on buy Gift.

The App is automatically gifted to the person you chose.

Note: Make sure that the person whom you are gifting the App has a regional iTunes account. You will not be allowed to Gift App to a person who has iTunes account in some other country.
